GEMWorX FlowModeler® software was created by Global Enterprise Managers, Inc. (GEM) FlowModeler was perhaps the first Business Process Analysis tool that was expressly designed to be employed by business users and is focused on human activity.
Starting with Microsoft Visio®–a tool that is almost universally accepted and used by business professionals and consultants–GEM added a full range of BPA functionality, including the ability to organize, manage and integrate Visio® diagrams, perform simulations, and publish Visio® diagrams to the Web. By making it possible for business people to 'Use Visio® Better'™ in contributing to process analysis efforts, FlowModeler enabled GEM to deliver significant added value in its consulting engagements.
Since its inception, GEMWorX FlowModeler® product capabilities have been continuously improved and expanded, and now FlowModeler/Visio® process diagrams can be quickly transformed into scalable Web-based Process Knowledge Management, process training, and operations support applications.
GEM is a privately held corporation founded in 1999. We serve clients worldwide from our office in Philadelphia. In addition to the software product group, our professionals specialize in four areas: Business Process Analysis, System Consulting, Systems Integration, and Change Management and Training. We have provided business solutions and technical consulting services–with a focus on the energy industry–in the areas of RFI/RFP Preparation and Application Selection, Trading System and Exchange Development, Systems Integration, and Change Management.
